Brainstorming for 2D game group project

tags and themes

FANTASY - GROWTH - NATURE - SPROUT - SEEDS - MUSHROOMS - CUTE - GLOWING WORMS - FIREFLIES - FAIRIES - LADYBUG - TALES - WHIMSICAL - GUARDIANS - FOREST FIRE - CANOPY - LEAF - ROOTS - VINES - FERNS - PEACE - BALANCE - SEASONS - WEATHER - SOIL - FERTILIZER - WEED KILLER

The game will explore personal growth within a natural environment (forest, plants and mushrooms). The main character for the stage will be a gender-less sprout person that will grow confidence as they progress in the level. There will also be a physical transformation (blooming?) as the character gathers confidence.

My personal game inspirations are LOCOROCO, FLOWER and AION.

"Journal entry #265

The subjects still appear to believe they are enrolled students. I am hopeful regarding the outcome of this mass experiment, even more so now that I have confirmation that the modules are nearly completed. In a few days I won't have to pretend being a lecturer or having any kind of knowledge in the discipline of arts. Goodness knows that kind of triviality was starting to drive me mad. But soon, the fruit of my research will emerge and my fellow scientists will finally recognise the superiority of my cortex!
